My fist baby sling was handcrafted for me by my Mother in law. As she was a missionary in Mexico during that time, she found and used the most amazing woven Mexican fabric she found in the local market. So naturally when my sister in law (her first sling was woven Mexican fabric too) and I first began making slings we asked her to buy us some of that gorgeous fabric. Over the years we used this fabric to create over 100 beautiful baby slings. It is by far our most popular fabric.
I sold out of my last shipment last year and have been searching all over the internet trying to find a supplier. I asked my Mother in law if she knew someone that could go buy it for me and she didn't know of anyone (as they are not in Mexico anymore). I was heart broken. She told me I could buy some myself this summer when we were down there. But alas the fabric was not on the route to our destination nor in any market we visited. Heart broken again....
well, last night to my glorious surprise I found a supplier! And now I anxiously await her reply. I am SO excited I can hardly stand it!
